Costume Rental Policy

We encourage you to visit our costume shop and wander through our stock – touch and try on any of our costumes that are available for rent and find the perfect one for your occassion!

Helpful Suggestions/How to Rent

Our Costume Coordinators will help you select a few ensembles to try on. This assistance is included in the rental fee. Accessories, hats, gloves, petticoats – any items that complete a look are also included in the final rental price. (SPECIALTY ACCESSORIES and SPECIAL PIECES are available for rent, but they are NOT included in the final rental fee.)

At the end of the fitting/try on session, you’ll pay for the rental and either take it with you, or come back to pick it up the day before your party or event.

We will do any and all alterations necessary make our costumes as perfect a fit for you as possible – time does play a significant factor in our ability to address discerning alterations – if we can make it happen for you, we will. There may be be a minimal fee for any major alterations. We do alterations on a “first in – first addressed” system – in busy times, like Halloween, it is always best to “shop early.” We will NOT let a costume be rented if it doesn’t fit well.

General Rental Information

  1. Must have valid ID
  2. Credit Card, debit or check is needed for the deposit.
  3. Three day rental (pick up the day before – the day of your event – and return the day after the event).
  4. Must pay with card used as Deposit.

Note:

  • NO REFUNDS and NO RETURNS
  • NO CANCELLATIONS
  • COSTUME IS BEING HELD FOR YOU – once a costume has been rented and removed from stock, it cannot be used in other productions and it cannot be rented by someone else who might want that particular garment – as such, there are NO CANELLATIONS and NO REFUNDS on rented items that have been removed from circulation (even if they are never picked up). Additionally, there are NO REFUNDS and NO RETURNS for instances when rented items have been removed from the store and remain un-worn or un-used. We understand that events get cancelled and we understand that “rain out” do happen – it doesn’t impact the fact that the rented garments became unavailable for any other use – “a rented garment has been rented.”

Late Fee Policy for Costume Rentals

A replacement fee 5 times the value of the costume will be charged after 30 days late.

The Full Rental Price will be charged for each day past the agreed upon return date.

You will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement whereby you:

Agree to Rent and Return the costume/articles in good condition on an agreed upon date – you will agree to pay the “Deposit” value of any items lost or damaged – you will agree to late charges of 100% of the daily rental value for each additional day the items are kept out up to 30 days. After 30 days the articles will be considered non-returnable. The “Deposit” will be forfeited and we will consider that you have paid for the costume in full.
